Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max is confirmed to debut in China in September with the new 3nm XRING O3 chip. It is also tipped to feature a 13.3 inch display and 120W charging, making it Xiaomi’s biggest tablet yet.
Xiaomi is preparing to bring a new premium tablet to its lineup, and the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max is shaping up as the most ambitious model yet. Xiaomi has confirmed that the tablet will debut with its new XRING O3 processor, while recent reports point to a 13.3 inch display and 120W fast charging. The tablet is expected to launch in China in September alongside Xiaomi’s next flagship devices. However, several hardware details, including the battery, RAM and display resolution, remain under wraps.
Xiaomi has confirmed a September 2026 launch in China, but the company has not announced the tablet’s price yet. There is also no confirmed India or global launch date. The Pad 9 Pro Max is expected to sit above the regular Pad 9 and Pad 9 Pro in the lineup.
Recent reports identify the tablet with the M367FC model number, linking it to a 13.3 inch screen and 120W charging. Interestingly, this model was previously associated with another Xiaomi tablet name, so its final branding has remained uncertain in earlier reports.
The Pad 9 Pro Max is tipped to carry a 13.3 inch display, making it considerably larger than the other expected Pad 9 models. The reported lineup includes an 11.2 inch Pad 9 and a 12.5 inch Pad 9 Pro, putting the Pro Max firmly at the top.
Xiaomi has not yet revealed the panel type, resolution, brightness or refresh rate. This is important because earlier reports have mixed specifications from different Pad models, meaning those details should not be treated as confirmed for the Pro Max.
The biggest confirmed hardware change is inside the tablet. Xiaomi has launched its XRING O3, a new flagship processor manufactured by TSMC using a 3nm N3P process. It has a 10-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of 4.05GHz and uses ARM’s 16 core G2 Ultra NX GPU.
Xiaomi says the chip is designed to improve performance while giving the company greater control over its hardware and software ecosystem. The Pad 9 Pro Max is among the first products confirmed to use it.
The other major specs are 120W wired charging, which would make the Pro Max the fastest-charging model in the expected Pad 9 family. The reported charging ladder is 45W for the 11.2 inch model, 67W for the 12.5 inch version and 120W for the 13.3 inch Pro Max.
The battery capacity is still unknown. However, the combination of a large 13.3 inch panel and 120W charging suggests Xiaomi could be targeting users who want a tablet for demanding work, gaming and extended multimedia use.
For now, RAM, storage, cameras, battery size, exact display specifications, dimensions and India availability remain unconfirmed. Xiaomi’s September event should reveal whether the Pro Max specifications match the final product.
