Jagran Prakashan Ltd (“Jagran”), the operator of Jagran Reviews, affirms its adherence to the Digital News Publishers Association (DNPA) Code of Ethics to the extent applicable to a digital platform publishing technology related reviews, comparisons, listicles, and informational content.

Although Jagran Reviews is not a digital news or current affairs publisher, does not publish reportage, and does not engage in political, crime, judicial, or social issue reporting, we remain committed to responsible digital publishing, transparency, and compliance with all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.

This compliance statement should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Terms of Use, and Affiliate Disclaimer.

1. Compliance With Applicable Laws

Jagran Reviews follows the laws of India relevant to digital publishing, including:

• The Constitution of India
• The Information Technology Act, 2000
• The Copyright Act, 1957
• Intellectual property laws
• Consumer protection and advertising norms applicable to product-related content

Jagran Reviews does not publish news, political content, or crime related reports, therefore, laws specifically governing news reporting are not typically triggered.

2. Editorial Integrity, Accuracy & Transparency

Even as a technology review and informational platform, we uphold the DNPA principles of accuracy and fairness in product reviews, comparisons, listicles, and editorial content, verifying product specifications, features, and claims before publication, avoiding misleading, distorted, or unsubstantiated statements, and maintaining editorial independence from advertisers, affiliate partners, or brands. All our editorial decisions are independent, and affiliate relationships do not influence product ratings, comparisons, or recommendations.

3. Right to Respond / Corrections Policy

While Jagran Reviews does not publish allegations or investigative content, we uphold the principle of responsible correction. If a brand, manufacturer, or concerned party notifies us of an error in product related information and provides verified supporting details, we will promptly update, correct, or amend the content as appropriate. Where applicable, the date of the update may also be indicated.

Jagran Reviews does not manage disputes, accusations, or right of reply matters pertaining to news or personal allegations, as such content is not part of our platform.

4. Content Removal, Updates, and Take-Downs

In accordance with DNPA guidelines, if any content on Jagran Reviews is found to be factually inaccurate, in violation of intellectual property rights, or misrepresenting a brand or product based on updated, verified information, Jagran will promptly edit, update, or remove such content upon receiving valid documentation or evidence from the concerned party.

5. Intellectual Property Compliance

Jagran Reviews strictly respects intellectual property rights, including copyrights in text, images, charts, and media, adherence to fair-use norms for product images or brand assets, and protection of trademarks and service marks. Third-party copyrighted material is used only with permission or under lawful exceptions. Upon receiving valid proof of intellectual property infringement, Jagran will promptly edit, remove, or take down the concerned content.

6. Responsible Digital Practices

While many DNPA guidelines concerning sensitive reporting such as sexual harassment, minors, crime, communal issues, judicial matters, or victim identification do not directly apply to Jagran Reviews, as the platform does not publish such content, we nevertheless uphold the broader ethical principles of respecting user privacy, avoiding sensitive or inappropriate content, ensuring that all content is safe, factual, and non-exploitative, and avoiding any depiction of obscene, explicit, or harmful material in accordance with Sections 67, 67A, and 67B of the IT Act, 2000, even though such content is never part of our platform.

7. Grievance Redressal Mechanism

Jagran Reviews follows the grievance redressal provisions applicable to digital platforms under the Information Technology Act and relevant intermediary related rules where applicable.

The Grievance Officer acts within required timelines to address complaints related to inaccuracies, IP issues, or other content concerns.

8. Respect for Privacy

Consistent with DNPA values, Jagran Reviews does not collect personal data from users, does not process personal profiles, user details, or sensitive information, and ensures that privacy is protected in all interactions. Any personal information voluntarily provided, for example via email, is handled solely for the purpose of resolving queries.

9. Commitment to DNPA Principles

While Jagran Reviews’s scope is limited to technology reviews and product information, rather than news reporting, we remain fully committed to the DNPA values of transparency, accountability, ethical publishing, respect for law and individual rights, and maintaining high editorial standards. We continuously monitor evolving norms and will revise our policies as needed to remain aligned with DNPA expectations relevant to our domain.
