Anthropic has launched Claud Duet, which is a proactive AI agent. It is designed to monitor priority tasks, monitor connected apps and carry out tasks in the background. Claud Duet will ease the tasks of small business owners and professions as they will be able to check on their tasks with less manual effort.
Calude Duet will not require instructions that are usually done in case of chatbots. With the help of Claud Duet, users will be able to get alerts on important updates that will help them to complete tasks on different apps. It is powered by Claude Opus 5.5 and is available as a research preview through a waitlist for Claude Pro and Max subscribers in the US.

Claude Duet has the ability to support more than 5000 business tools and plugins though the Claude Marketplace. An interaction with so many apps worldwide allows it to be used to find missed messages in Gmail, Slack. Apart from this, one can also track unpaid invoices through QuickBooks or Stripe, draft job posting on job sites, prepare payroll, etc.

Anthropic will initially hold a research preview of Claude Duet through a waitlist in the US. It will begin with Claude Pro and Max subscribers. The app is available as a standalone offering on iOS and Android, as well as through claude.ai.
