Canon EOS R8 Mark II has officially launched in India as the company’s latest full-frame mirrorless camera. Priced at ₹1,78,995 for the body, it brings a 24.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor, DIGIC X processor, 40fps electronic burst shooting and 5-axis in-body image stabilisation. The camera also supports 4K 60fps video, Full HD slow-motion recording at 180fps and Canon Log 3. It weighs around 546 grams with the battery and memory card, making it Canon’s lightest full-frame camera with IBIS.
Canon announced the EOS R8 Mark II on September 16, 2026, with the camera positioned as the successor to the EOS R8. In India, the body-only model is priced at ₹1,78,995. Canon has also announced accessories for users who want additional grip options.
