The Redmi Watch 6 Lite is back in the spotlight after a new retail listing surfaced today, giving a clearer idea of its possible pricing. The smartwatch has already appeared in some reports with a 1.96-inch AMOLED screen, multi-system GPS and 470mAh battery. However, Xiaomi has not confirmed an India launch date or price yet. The latest listing puts the watch at around ₹7,400 when converted from its Hungarian price, while earlier reports suggested a European price of about €60.
Redmi Watch 6 Lite Price Details Hint at a Possible India Launch
The latest development is a Hungarian retail listing that reportedly shows the Redmi Watch 6 Lite at HUF 24,490, translating to roughly ₹7,400. This is not an India price, but it gives a newer reference point than the earlier €60 estimate.
- European price: Around €60
- Latest converted retail price: Around ₹7,400
- India price: Not confirmed
The watch is expected to launch alongside the Redmi Watch 6 Active, which has reportedly appeared at a lower HUF 16,690 price.
Bigger AMOLED Screen and GPS Set the Lite Apart
The Redmi Watch 6 Lite is tipped to feature a 1.96-inch AMOLED display with 410×502-pixel resolution. That puts it between the 1.85-inch screen expected on the Watch 6 Active and the 2.07-inch panel on the standard Watch 6.
The more interesting upgrade is underneath. The Lite is expected to get multi-system satellite positioning and a 9-axis motion sensor, which could make it a better option for outdoor workouts. Users could track running or walking routes without relying entirely on a connected phone.
Health Tracking, Calling and Sports Features
The smartwatch is expected to cover the usual fitness essentials, including heart-rate monitoring, SpO₂ tracking, sleep monitoring, distance tracking, calorie counting and step tracking. It could also support more than 140 sports modes.
A built-in speaker is another important addition, pointing towards Bluetooth calling directly from the watch when paired with a smartphone. Android and iOS compatibility through the Mi Fitness app is also expected.
470mAh Battery, But India Launch Remains a Question
The Redmi Watch 6 Lite is expected to carry a 470mAh battery, the same capacity reported for the Watch 6 Active but smaller than the 550mAh cell inside the standard Watch 6.
Xiaomi has yet to confirm whether the Watch 6 Lite will actually make its way to India. The situation is particularly interesting because the standard Redmi Watch 6 also has no confirmed India launch, despite being available in select global markets.
For now, the GPS, AMOLED display, 9-axis sensor, 470mAh battery and pricing remain rumors -based details, and Xiaomi's official confirmation is still awaited.
