CMF Buds Neo launches in India today at 12 PM with a distinctive dial style case, three colour options and entry level positioning, while its price, battery, audio hardware and other specifications remain the key launch day reveals.
CMF is expanding its affordable audio lineup with the Buds Neo, which is officially arriving in India today. The new TWS earbuds are being positioned as the brand’s most accessible entry point yet, placing them below the existing Buds 2 range. Ahead of the launch, CMF has revealed the design, colour options and an unusual circular element on the charging case, but has kept most hardware details under wraps.
The CMF Buds Neo will launch in India on August 20 at 12 PM IST. CMF has not announced the price yet, but its entry level positioning suggests it will sit below the CMF Buds 2, which currently starts at ₹2,699. A price around the ₹2,000 to ₹2,500 segment would put the Neo directly against popular affordable TWS options, although this remains an estimate until the company confirms it.
The Buds Neo keeps the familiar stem style in ear design but adds a more angular look. Teasers show three versions: white with orange accents, blue/cyan and black. The charging case gets a prominent circular dial like element on the side, which could be used for controls such as volume or playback. CMF has not confirmed its exact function yet.
The earbuds also appear to feature touch controls and dual microphones, suggesting that call quality will be an important part of the experience. The unusual case control could become the Neo’s biggest differentiator if CMF brings advanced functionality to a lower price point.
The Neo is not simply another pair of low-cost earbuds. CMF is bringing its distinctive industrial design to the lowest end of its lineup, where buyers usually prioritise price, battery life and basic reliability over premium features.
