iQOO has officially confirmed the Pad Ultra for a September-end launch, with reports pointing to an 8.8-inch OLED display, 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip, active cooling fan and 9,000mAh battery.
iQOO is expanding its performance-focused lineup with the new Pad Ultra, and this time the company is targeting compact gaming tablets rather than conventional large screen models. The tablet has now been officially confirmed by iQOO for a September end launch in China, following several leaks about its specifications. It is expected to debut alongside the iQOO 16 series, giving the company a larger performance focused launch event.
iQOO has confirmed that the Pad Ultra will launch in China towards the end of September 2026. The company has not revealed its price yet, and there is currently no official word on an India launch.
The iQOO Pad Ultra is tipped to feature an 8.8-inch OLED display, putting it in the compact tablet category. The leaked design reportedly includes four narrow bezels and a centred punch-hole camera.
Unlike larger 11- or 12-inch tablets, this smaller form factor could make the Pad Ultra easier to hold horizontally while gaming.
The display's exact resolution and refresh rate have not yet been confirmed, so those details should be treated cautiously.
Performance is where the Pad Ultra could stand apart. Leaks point to Qualcomm's 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor.
More importantly, iQOO is reportedly adding an active cooling fan inside the tablet. A dedicated vent is also visible in the reported design. This suggests the company is building the tablet around sustained performance rather than short bursts of peak power.
