Casio Launches G-Shock 2500 Series in India: Features, Price,

Casio has launched the new G-SHOCK 2500 series in India. It has brought a fresh category of analogue watch design inspired by the first G-SHOCK watch launched in 1983 which was the DW-5000C model. The new CASIO G- SHOCK 2500 series comes with a multifunction date display, 200 metre water resistance with rounded contours for a more detailed dial. 

G-SHOCK 2500 Series Launched in India 

The G-SHOCK 2500 series is launched for the following models. 

• GAC-2500 – Resin models emphasizing utility and everyday versatility
• GMC-2500 – Metal-accented models offering a more premium expression
• GMC-2500D – Full metal bracelet models delivering the collection's most refined and elevated appearance

Casio G-SHOCK 2500 Features

According to Takuto Kimura, Managing Director of Casio India, the Casio G-SHOCK 2500 has the heritage of the original DW-5000C and an analogue design which is durable, functionable and is built on supreme craftsmanship. G-SHOCK 2500 has the following features in it: 

• Auto calendar which is capable of adjusting through the year 2099
• 1 second stopwatch functionality 
• It is guided by the design concept of “Depth in Shadow,” which allows it to create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow through sculpted surfaces, dimensional dial architecture and sharply defined indexes.
• LED illumination 
• Power saving second hand stop function that extends up to five years of battery life 
• Disc display which supports date indication, mode indicators, and stopwatch functions
• It comes with Multi-Mission Date function. Its three cell window at the 3’o clock position displays date during regular use and shows stopwatch elapsed time. 
• Once the watch is fully configured, this analogue watch adjust for moned end changes, leap years automatically.

Casio G-Shock GMC-2500 Specifications

The measurement of all the five models of the G-Shock 2500 series is 46.7 × 43.8 × 12.9mm. The watch features mineral glass, an amber LED light with afterglow and accuracy rated at ±15 seconds per month.

The stainless-steel GMC-2500D weighs 138g and has a bracelet clasp designed for wrists measuring 150mm to 205mm. The resin-band GMC-2500 weighs 68g and fits wrists measuring 145mm to 215mm.

Battery Life of Casio G-SHOCK 2500

Casio G-SHOCK 2500 has a battery life of up to five years while its GAC-2500-1A and GMC-2500D-1A have battery life of two years.
