The A7 Pro Max starts at CNY 2,199 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while the 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB versions cost CNY 2,699 and CNY 2,999, respectively. In India, the phone is reportedly being lined up as the OPPO F35 Pro, with an expected price below ₹45,000 and a possible launch by the end of August. OPPO has not officially confirmed the Indian name, price or launch date yet.

The 10,000mAh Battery Is More Than Just a Big Number

The biggest change is OPPO's new 10,000mAh Glacier Battery, making the A7 Pro Max the company's first phone to cross the five-digit battery mark. It supports 80W wired charging and 27W reverse charging, allowing it to power other devices. The battery uses silicon-carbon technology, while OPPO claims it can retain 80% capacity after 1,500 full charge cycles.

There is also an interesting engineering angle here: despite the huge battery, the phone is listed at around 8.47mm thick. That makes the battery capacity-to-thickness combination one of the phone's more notable aspects, rather than simply its headline 10,000mAh figure.

Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 Meets a 120Hz 1.5K OLED Screen

The A7 Pro Max is the first commercial phone to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 platform. The 4nm chip combines two Cortex-A78 cores clocked up to 2.4GHz with six Cortex-A55 cores and an Adreno G629 GPU. It is paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

On the front is a 6.78-inch 1.5K flexible AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 10-bit colour, 100% DCI-P3 coverage and up to 1,800 nits brightness. Gaming can also use a 330Hz touch sampling rate.

Cameras, Durability and the Real Trade-Off

Photography includes a 50MP OIS primary camera and 2MP monochrome sensor at the back, along with a 50MP front camera. Video recording is limited to 1080p, so the phone's camera system is clearly not its strongest selling point.

The bigger focus is durability. The A7 Pro Max carries IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K protection. It also runs Android 16-based ColorOS 16 and offers stereo speakers, NFC, an IR blaster and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The interesting part for India is the positioning: if the reported F35 Pro price lands around ₹40,000 to ₹45,000, OPPO would be selling battery endurance and durability rather than flagship-level processing or camera versatility. That could make it a very different proposition from conventional mid-range phones.
